I have been away - literally - in Paris for a few days and I haven't done any blogging!  But I have started a new pair of socks...

Pumping Iron

OK - Sorry to all those of you who were expecting pictures of big-bicepted, handsome hunks... just my little joke.  There are no biceps in this post!  But there is some pumping...

Some time ago I had a little problem in the fusebox in my dépendence - it kept tripping out and the problem turned out to be with the plug of the pump from my fosse.  A friend fixed it temporarily for me, but today it tripped out again and I had to find a quick and dirty solution before the water filled the pump housing (a 4 ft hole) again.

I dried out the plug and connected it to an extension lead, which worked fine.  As it is raining a bit here, I had to find some way to protect it from the damp again....

Not elegant, but efficient!
