Tisane for Tuesday

Today I am not drinking my usual coffee, but a tisane.  (I've already had 3 cups of coffee!)  It is a mixture of Camomile, Orange leaves and vanilla.  Promoted as 'Anti-Stress'.  I drink so much if this one ('cos it tastes lovely) I am permanently stress-less!

Child's fingerless mitten

You can also see the lone child's size fingerless mitten next to it.  I am working on this pattern, but I'm not happy with the thumb yet.

I'm also making a sleeveless cardigan for Max in a really unusual pattern.  It's coming out a bit small, so I'm hoping it'll block to size!  I'm not pulling it all back if it doesn't! The colours are really good together and this is a new stitch pattern on me.  I tried it in the gloves, but it wouldn't work with the thumb.  I'm going to try and design a pattern where the thumb is knitted on afterwards and see if that works. The stranding of the yarns behind the work makes for a really warm fabric, ideal for gloves.

I love the beautiful color combination of the sweater you are knitting.

I'm not familiar with tisane, but since I love vanilla, I'm sure it is good!

I've never heard of Tisane, but will look for it the next time I'm in need of stress free tea (grin).

That is really, really beautiful colors of yarn you have used. They would not have been nearly as effective with any other pattern, I fear. You come up with the most creative patterns and color combinations.

Thanks for joining T today. I am always thrilled when I see your posts. BTW, I have NO idea why those women were playing cards in the restaurant on my blog today, because even though I was there, I didn't notice what they were doing or why. Wish I had taken a better look at my surroundings.

I to, like the color combo of your sweater. The tea sounds divine, and to be stress-less? Who could turn that down....LOL
Have a great week.

I thought there might be a tea/drink post but I never expected the knitting. Your things look great and (for me) complicated. I'm in the process of learning to knit socks. The first one is a bit lumpy but the second one is coming along nicely. It will take years to reach your level of skill though.

The tisane sounds lovely if it lost the vanilla, not too fond of that taste! Your knitting looks fab too, the colour of the wool reminds me of moss on a rock... thos lovely hints of green throughout it.
