Brocanting in the Rain...

Last Sunday there was a brocante in my closest village - Mézières-sur-Issoire.

I went, even though the weather forecast was not good.  Actually, as I got there the rain was pouring down, but I had my trusty Grommet (Wallace and Grommet) umbrella, so I still went round the few stalls that had not already packed up!

I was lucky in that I found some DVDs at 1€ and a bathroom cabinet that I aim to convert to a dolls' wardrobe...

...and some Barbie dolls, including Disco Barbie, who has a flashing light in her chest and disco music when you press the button on her belt!

Oh, and I got some gorgeous French Marigolds for an amazing price of €4.95 for 10 large plants!  I have already planted out some of them in my potager...

All in all, not a bad haul for a wet day...

Sounds like you got some great things despite the bad weather. I really enjoy the things you find, they're so interesting! Keep going!!!
Big hugs Sharon in Spain xx

G'day Penny. That's a fabulous cupboard. Will you leave it the same colour? Glad you had a good day at the Brocante. Take care. Liz...
