Some weeks ago I made a scarf for my friend Joan, after seeing an example of the yarns at the Marie Claire Salon in Paris. When knitted (in stocking stitch) it seemed odd that almost all of the bobbles came out on the purl side of the scarf.

However - I remembered this when I wanted to make a tea cosy for my new little tea pot, and thought it might come in useful. I bought the yarn and knitted with one strand of white bobble yarn and one of peach eyelash yarn. As before, 90% of the bobbles came out on the 'wrong' side, which was to be the inside of the teacosy. Hey Presto - a funky tea cosy with it's own lining!
