I didn't find out until Giles and Fi came to stay, as I hadn't used that shower. Giles thought it was movement between the tray and the sealing strip on the side, but I thought it was odd that it hadn't leaked when I only had a shower curtain, so I checked it today. Here are the pictures, and I think they show conclusively that the door has a huge gap between it and its frame.
Good job I haven't paid the bill yet!
