Anyway, I got on with digging out a patch of garden to put some of my flowers into. They probably won't survive much longer in pots. It was hard work, but I got quite a lot of plants in. Not all of them, of course, but quite a lot. Clumsily I managed to break all three flower stalks on one of the irises, but everything else survived - so far!
It all looks rather good - I just hope the moles don't come in the night and uproot everything!
