Fete de l'Ail et du Melon at Blond

Wow - a baking hot day for this market at Blond! I bought some of the garlic, to take to England for Giles but not the melons - they wouldn't keep!

It was busy at the market which, unusually, goes on all day.


I was particularly interested in the Dutch lady spinner. She was selling handspun yarn as well as items made by her from her yarn, and best of all - she teaches spinning!
I'm to contact her in September for some lessons.


Jamie (Buckley) had a stall there, selling his cards and Sandra's jewellery and bags and was doing very well.
