Last night after that very, very hot day (and thank you Jason, I AM drinking lots - mostly tea) the night was filled with thunder, lightning and lashing rain. The morning dawned clear and cool, but the sun was playing cache-cache and was hot when it came out.
After lunch though, a different story and another sudden storm:
The thunder was so loud it rattled the house and the lightning was enough to animate Frankenstein's monster. Then, only minutes later...
...the sun was out, hot and strong.
Moral of this story? Dress in layers, and carry an umbrella!
