Boxing Clever...

Well, it had to be done - when I brought in a box from outside, last week, I felt the material was a little damp, so I had to do the whole lot.

This is how many there were (about 17 coming inside) - previously stored under the barbecue abri (shelter).

Now the abri is completely empty of stored boxes (although about 10 of them, containing toys or fleece, went into the dependences)

Now all I have to do is go through the boxes....

Today is perfect for that, as I won't be going anywhere until the snow melts and I know the roads are clear and safe.

First Box

This was the heaviest box, containing just material. Lots of lovely stuff.
Full of memories too, as this material on top was a shirt of Richard's that he loved to wear on holiday:

Some ex-curtaining in there too - perfect for making ....something....
Box of Wool
This box was smaller, but contained some nice surprises...
like the Hand Maiden Sea silk and the Fleece Artist sock yarn. Both in beautiful colours. I love the small balls of silk too, but I'm not sure how to use them - I seem to remember they were about 11 pounds each!!!!
I'll update you with more pictures as I go through the boxes!
