Phew - a Busy Day!

Normally, I like to hibernate in the winter (some call it laziness) but I really needed to get a few things sorted...

For example - the slow puncture in my tyre. This has been going on for months, and every couple of days I have to go out and pump up the tyre before I go out... a real pain! Often I would forget and then worry all the way to wherever I was driving to. So, finally, today I took the car down to a local tyre place in Bellac - Olympe pneus - and explained the situation. The nice guy there sorted it out (a nail in it) and get this - REPAIRED it!!!!

And the cost? 15 euros. I was expecting more like 50, as it took some time...

Then, when I got home, I thought I should photograph some of the things I'm hoping to sell on my website - and, believe me, there are lots of them - so I spent pretty much the rest of the day photographing and I've even managed to list some of them:

these are some of the cross-stitch kits, but there are also some antique textiles...

...and so much more of everything to come!

So you must excuse the fact that I haven't done much crafting today - except for sewing the centres into some more needlecases. Guess I'll sew on the closures this evening...

Beautiful colors on the needled cases--are they for crochet needles, or sewing needles? I can't quite figure it out. Anyway, that is a beautiful yarn you used.
