I've finished my crochet bunting!
What bunting, I hear you ask.
Well - several years ago I wrote this pattern for miniature bunting in crochet. I made the sample piece, which my daughter now has hanging on the wall you look at as you come down her stairs. I kept meaning to make more, but never got round to it. Then, while I was in England last week I bought some variegated acrylic yarn (Paintbox, by Robin), which I thought would make a lovely set of flags to go in the window of the Chez Penny shop.
Here's how it turned out.
What do you think?
Here are some closer shots.
I might just dip each flag in a dilute solution of PVA, as I find that crochet has a nasty habit of curling up at the edges...
Oh - and by the way, I've made the pattern available FREE on my Ravelry page - look for Hennypenny!
