More Socks Please,we're British...

...and suffering from the usual winter weather!


Nothing to do but sit and knit faster, as I've run out of logs and kindling (although I DO have central heating too!)


I've finished these socks for Max today...

..and started these...

The first pair is  in a Drops Design yarn called Drops Delight - which is 75% wool superwash and 25% polyamid.  In the ball, you would have thought the socks would be predominantly turquoise...

The newly-started pair is in a blue variegated yarn made in France, which is 70% wool and 30% polyamide.  I haven't made socks from either before, so I hope they'll be man enough for the job!
