String and Felt (in case you were wondering)!
I'm still making string bags, a blue and gold one is currently 'on my hook'...
...but I've also got back to the felt urge, and yesterday I made some felt balls. Well, actually I needlefelted some fleece onto a couple of acrylic pompoms...
...to see if it would work. It did work OK, although the resultant balls are quite soft and I'm not exactly sure what I could use them for. I also needle-felted some yarn on top for extra interest. Anyway, this is the result...
I'm wondering if they would look good as a flower brooch centre - perhaps with a few sparkly beads?

If they are soft could you stitch them to fabric as a trimming? Or make a necklace out of them interspersed with other beads? You certainly keep busy don't you?! Wish I could have some of whatever you are on as I don't seem to get going on anything lately!
Looks like those little balls have possibilities. I like the brooch centre idea.
Oh, those felted pom poms would look great as brooch centres and a few beads to add a bit of sparkle.........lovely.
You must be able to whip up a string bag with your eyes closed now you've got the hang of it......love the gold and blue.
