Here Endeth...

...the work for today.  I've done loads!!!

The biggest part (all afternoon) was stripping and undercoating these shed doors...

This morning I stripped and undercoated a window shutter, so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself.

How come I managed to do all this today and not other days?  The weather.  It was MUCH cooler today (there was even a sprinkling of rain this morning) and that makes all the difference! Perfect weather for DIY.

Oh - and over lunch I played around crocheting a big flower for a brooch (only all my brooch backs are in storage in England!).  Still, I like it lots - it's in a Turkish yarn made by ICE yarns, called Felt.  (Although it doesn't felt - I tried it).
