Ready to Go!

Did I ever show you the photos of the house once it was ready for the estate agent?  I don't think so.  And as it will never be this tidy again, I thought I'd better show you now!  This is the kitchen...

Actually, it all feels a bit bare to me...

String Bags (and a Giveaway)

The weather is bizarre still, with pouring rain and then brilliant, hot sunshine (it poured with rain all through the night too) so I can't do much outside - either painting the door shutters or doing the garden - so I ought to be putting down the tiles in the two shower rooms.  However, I only got about 4 hours sleep last night, so I'm feeling a bit tired, and so I'm making more string bags.  I do hope I sell some!!!

I finished the blue and gold one...

...and am now back on to the multi-colour ones.  At least I'm using up my stash!

The current one is using a Phildar yarn, which is a mixture of 75% cotton and 25% seacell...

Thalassa bag

I see that my followers are up to 102 today, so I thought I'd do a giveaway when the numbers reach 105.  What am I giving away?  A string bag of course!
If you're a follower, just leave a comment here and say which bag you'd like (and don't forget your email for me to contact you).

I see now I am to choose a color. I see a multi-colored one there. I like that one! Again, your give away is probably over. I think you have my e-mail... Oh, the house looks great, I like the kitchen the most I think.

Are those string bags hanging from that rack above the fireplace? The colors are BEAUTIFUL! I thought they were large socks at first. Yes, I like the kitchen the most. You did so much work and it turned out beautifully.

The house looks wonderful, you've done so much work on it!
And it's so lovely to see a place that is receiving rain. I swear that I can hear our garden gasping for water. My garden hose is no match for the high heat of the day.

Thanks for a chance to win one of your bags...the multicolored one is lovely.
cheers suki
