Kool Kotton Koaster

I saw this on Bobo Bun's blog although the original pattern was on Yvestown's blog.  I made several changes, and hope to publish my version on Ravelry if Yvonne gives me permission to refer to her original.

I like my coasters to be thick enough to protect the surface beneath, so I made two and joined them with the 1ch on the last round.
