...if not, try making a cushion! That's what I've been doing the last couple of days, as it's still too hot to even venture outdoors. It's been 31° today - cooler than recently, but still very hot! So I've closed the shutters, opened all the windows, put on the fan, had lots of cool drinks and crocheted away at some cushions.
I used the Willow square pattern by Jan Eaton - it's one of my favourites.
Nothing's blocked, as I haven't finished the back yet...
I'm going to use a button closure with some big pearly buttons I've got (if I can find them).
I've already finished the front of another Willow, in mauve and turquoise, so you'll be seeing that soon.

It's one of my favbourites too. Your cushion is beautiful. Do you long for cooler days? I find it wonderful summery as long as I can sit in the shadow. :-)
Hello Penny
wish I could crochet in the pool...just so hot the yarn sticks to my hands phew!
Love these combination of colours and the motif....lovely and neat. Is that cotton...?
Amanda :-)
Hi Penny, beautiful colour combination. I have that book and have done several of the squares for Sibol, some really great designs.
31o - sounds far too hot for me!
