The day before yesterday I broke one of my KnitPro acrylic tips. Today I broke another one.
A few months ago I broke my first one ever and that was replaced free of charge by Shiela Dixon of p2tog.com, which is the business I bought the set from in the first place. Although Shiela didn't own it at the time...
Anyway, she was very good and sent me another set of tips for free. I spoke to her a couple of days ago about the breakage that happened then and she had no hesitation in saying she would replace the breakage. When I broke the other needle, this evening, I emailed her to say I would send them both in one envelope and, if I could, pay the difference to have the wooden Symphonie tips instead of the acrylic ones.
I hope she can get agreement from KnitPro to do this, as otherwise we will be posting needles back and forth across the Channel for ever...
