Frost Hat

Firstly thank you for all those good wishes - I do feel a lot better today!

This morning the car went in to have the rear suspension changed so it doesn't feel like I'm driving a ship in a stormy sea any more!  But this afternoon I have applied myself to finishing the Frost Hat.  It is smaller than it should have been (fits me and I have a small head) but was an interesting pattern to make and even MORE interesting when it got to the decreasing for the crown. Next time (if there is a next time) I'll use larger needles.

I took some pictures of it on me, but they were too scarey to publish on the blog.  Here is one on my old Teddy Bear, Brumas, who is nearly as old as I am (I had her when I was 3 years old).

The hat is, of course, a perfectly normal 'beanie' shape, but the bear's ears give it an interesting new configuration....

Oddly enough this is the best photo for showing the true colour of the yarn, although it is rather dark in other respects.

Love the hat Penny and at least if it doesn't sell you will know a friendly bear that would love it :-)
Hugs,

The hat looks great Penny. Your bear is gorgeous, I still have the bear I was given for my first birthday, that makes it almost 48!

Glad you are feeling better xx
