T for Tuesday

Do you remember my Wagon Wheel square?

Well, I finished that blanket, but unfortunately only had enough of the two colours to make it doll-sized!

Finished blanket

So I've started on another, hoping to make it for a pram or cot, as I had originally planned!

Today's picture is of my coffee and the latest blanket - which is made in a mixture of a fine, fluffy acrylic and a No. 8 crochet cotton, worked together.

Pink 1

I think the wagon wheel pattern looks just as good in a single colour as in two...

Pink 2

Don't forget to pop here and see what other people are doing this Tuesday!

The blanket may be small, but it is so pretty and I love the look of the one you are working on now, it has a lace effect to it that is lovely.

Hey there, dear. Your link went to a different date (Aug 6.). I found you by clicking on your blog header.

That latest creation is going to be one soft and beautiful blanket. I bet whoever gets it will use it for a bedspread it's so pretty.

Isn't it amazing when looking at the 2 colored blanket, how different the yellow outside looks than when you used the turquoise? I realize it's an illusion, but it's so different.

I really like both these pieces you showed today. Thanks for sharing them this T Tuesday.

Lovely colors in both of the pieces. I think the pattern stands out more in the solids!

(I noticed your link went to last Tuesday's post also)

I am a huge fan of crochet rugs and these are just beautiful. I tried to crochet last year, it turns out I should stick to papercrafts LOL.

Both blankets are pretty; that is a great pattern. I love how each blanket has its own feel--the yellow/blue one is bold, while the pink one is softer. Happy T day!
