Wooly Cardi - and Some Hats!

In my last post I mentioned it is COLD here at the moment.  So knitting warm things is the order of the day.  The wool I was waiting in for has arrived - in two colours - but the olive green did not photograph well...

Olive yarn

...though the grey and white mix has come out well...

Grey_white yarn

So I shall soon start on the Tide cardigan!

I forgot to mention that I have more news on the hats I made - which are more like bonnets really.  There was the one for me in a chunky wool on 6mm needles...

Capucine bonnet

...and then I experimented with DK wool and 4mm needles to get a child-sized version...

Child version

I think the child version would be for quite a small child, but I was pleased that it all worked out.

Mother and Child

Maybe I'll try making one in 4ply and tiny needles to fit a Sasha doll...
