Plants and Plant Labels

Now I just went into the garden and took a few photos to illustrate one of my pet irritations. Plant Labels.

I am particularly fond of Irises (although at the moment I appear to have a penchant for breaking the flower stems off by accident just as they are about to flower). However, there is one in flower in the garden currently, and it is a gorgeous shade of velvety brown - almost black from a distance. Here are a couple of pictures:

I think that illustrates my point - you should never rely on the label!
