The good news is that I managed to get the lawnmower started! Although it looked as if it had petrol, I think there was not enough. I went out and bought some and filled up the tank and away it went!
So the lawn looks pretty good now!
Jason has been down for a couple of days, painting the guest bedroom. It's not finished yet, but it's a lovely colour - Salix, from the Little Greene Paint Company.
Hopefully I'll finish it when I get back from England in a week's time.
