My First Flatpack!

Assembling a CD Rack

I popped into EcoGem today and came out with a flatpack! It is to keep my CDs in, as they are still in boxes and I can never find anything. (Story of my life for the last 16 months with everything).

Now I've never assembled a flatpack before, but I've heard people talk about their experiences, and even seen adverts for handymen whose 'raison d'etre' is to assemble your stubborn flatpacked furniture... so I was suitably scared - or perhaps 'wary' is a better word.

This was the instruction sheet:

...and all the bits were there...

All I added was some wood glue in the dowel holes to make sure it was sturdy.

Seemed quite easy really!
