Shelf Evaluation

One more step in the 'get your home organised' campaign - I put up some Ercol plate rack shelves that I had hanging around the place (as you do...).

They didn't look very good as plain wood, so I painted them pale blue to match the lambris wall of the kitchen.

Then I looked at them for a day... and they still looked rather odd.

So I decided to put stuff on them... and see if they looked better.

But I couldn't find the right plates, so I just used any old stuff, that was hanging around.
This picture shows the paint colour well....

But this picture looks more welcoming...
Funny how homely clutter is...
