Noro Needlecase

Ta Da! The first one is finished! Here it is:

It is lined with felt and has felt 'pages' for the needles...

...with the maker's label in the back.

It closes simply by winding the tiny, pure silk ribbon around the handmade ceramic button.

Incidentally the button was made by Debbie Abrahams' mum, and I bought it when I was on the Kangaroo knitting course at the Chateau of St Julian de l'Ars in October 2008.

Love the closure idea. It looks very tactile, it's a good job it's not mine. It would be all bobbly from me stroking it. lol.
