As the weather has been so dry here, I think this aster got confused and, when I came back I transplanted it from the gravel just outside my back doorstep, into this pot, and gave it water. So, it thinks summer is over and it's time to flower!

...but this little aster doesn't know that!

It looks lovely, it's pouring down with rain today here, typical of a British bank holiday!!!!! the gardens may need it, but it would have been kinder to have held off for one more day!
