A, B and C

I went to a big brocante today, at Lussac les Chateaux, a town on the main road from here to Poitiers.  The last one I went to there was situated all round the lake with the picturesque remains of an old bridge (presumably to one of the 'chateaux')...

...but this one was in the main car park - romantically billed as the 'Champ de Foire'. I bought only three things - hence the title of this post:

Animal Pairs game (A)...

Matching pairs game

...a lovely old game, perfect for playing with Molly when she comes out at the end of the month.

Bargain Blender (B)...

1-euro bargain

...I had one of these before, which I gave to Tor when hers packed up.  This one is in much better condition than that was, and even has a whisk attachment! The two young men running the stall wanted only 1 EURO for it!!!

Cream Enamel Ladle and Blue Drainer Spoon (C)...

All in all I spent 5 euros!

Curtain Update

I've just finished the edging on the curtain for the middle room, and it really does look very good.  I've published the edging pattern on Ravelry ...

LOVE the curtain edging and the ladles... and the curtain up at your window looks lovely with that wonderful soft shade of yellow.
