House on a Lorry

Today I went to The Garage to get my tailgate lock sorted out.  It turned out to be a solenoid which Colin removed for me.  I can get a new one and have it replaced, or simply use the key to lock and unlock the tailgate.

On the way - on the Bellac By-Pass - I was behind a lorry which was delivering a house.  Yes, a house, a complete house.

Sorry for the fuzzy picture, but I was watching the road with the camera balanced on the steering wheel!

I wondered if the whole thing would get under the bridge...

...but it did!

That gives a whole new meaning to moving houses doesn't it? :-)

G'day Penny.Friends of ours bought an old house and had it moved on a truck to their property. It's amazing to see something like that travelling along the road. Take care. Liz...
