Limpets and Leaves

Hello to my new followers - and thank you all for following!
While waiting for a replacement for my KnitPro acrylic needles I had, of course, to start a new beret.  The pattern is called Limpetiole (petiole for leaf stalk and limpet for, well, limpet).
I made it in the first size, for a child, and it was quick and easy to make.

Limpetiole, top

Limpetiole, underside

Limpetiole, detail

The yarn is a 100% Merino from ICE yarns and is more buttery than the pictures show.  I do love the pattern and am now on my second one!

Hey Penny, love your latest beret, beautifully creamy, yellow. Your knitting needles are never still for long.
Enjoy your weekend,

That looks lovely. Is it a Wooly Wormhead pattern? She creates some awesome designs.

I've thought about using ICE Merino. Is it any good?

Hope you're having a fab weekend.

Lovely to discover your blog, via Annie.
The beret is fabulous and isn't merino soft and beautiful.
I am knitting my daughter a cream merino scarf at the moment.

Happy weekend
Carolyn

So you do two or more pieces of the same item too, don't you? Also this beret is beautiful.
