Moussaka

Today I made vegetarian moussaka.  About 3 times as much as I needed, so I'll have to freeze some.



I ate a portion with the first of my new potatoes... I dug up one plant and, although there were only 6 tiny potatoes, they were delicious!

When the rest of the moussaka is cold I'm going to freeze it.  It will give me three more meals...

Simple Baby Socks

Today I learnt how to knit socks on 2 circular needles.  I used my own Simple Baby Sock pattern and this is the first sock I made...



It took a bit of getting used to but I love the fact that there are none of those 'lines' in the knitting which always appear when you are using 4 needles.  I think I have got used to the technique now and will certainly use it in future.
