15th October - another beautiful day!

Yup, another warm and sunny day to make up for the lost summer and ease me into a (no doubt) cold winter.

Went down to Bellac for a coffee by the river - the ducks were making a dreadful noise, for hours, and swimming round and racing up and down in a mad water ballet.




The trees all confirm that summer is over, with berries and seeds galore, and the holly is so full of berries, it is really Christmassy! According to folk lore, lots of holly berries means a hard winter, so thank goodness I've got the wood-burning stove fitted!
