The cake and case are OK now, and I think the icing looks good.
I've just about changed the whole pattern, and it's fairly easy to work now.But today I have no time for blogging - I need to clean up my workroom. It's been in progress for many months now, and still looks like this...
...but I'm hoping to get most of the boxes sorted and back on the shelves today.

Beginning to look dangerously close to the crochet cactus you do.
The cake bit should come up and out. It now looks like a ball sat in a case. Must be tough getting it right, so I suppose I shouldn't criticise...

I love the cake and am sure Mollyt(?) will too. Glad your workroom gets like mine and wish you well with the clear up!
