Making Hay Jam While the Sun Shines

My friend gave me some rhubarb from her garden and I decided it should be turned into jam, after finding this recipe,thanks to Emily of Unravelled.

I didn't quite have a kilo of rhubarb, so had to put in less sugar, and I just hope it sets OK!

Here's the process...

Sugar dissolved

Jam boiling

...don't forget the lemon juice...

...and I ended up with 3 jars of jam (or rhubarb sauce to eat with ice cream if it doesn't set!)
