Shawl Success

I know you shouldn't count your chickens before they're hatched, but it DOES look like I've got that lace pattern cracked - thanks to Evelyn's advice to look at the notes from Jessica on the Juniper Moon Farm Forum, which is hosting a discussion for the Amari shawl.

Here's my shawl now - I'm on my last lace row...

Amari - lace pattern so far

Amari lace pattern, close

Now I've just got to find a suitable contrast yarn to do the edging row!

Oh Penny that looks really lovely...how about going for an ivory for the edge to give it a real lacy effect?

Ooh that's so pretty!! I need to find my metal size 7 tips and finish mine! After seeing the lace on yours I am over my needle breaking frustration lol

What??? Your lace edging is gorgeous! I'm so happy that it all worked out. I'm still rows away from the edge but am really looking forward to getting there.

Ohohohoh, I love how beautiful your lace edge turned out. Your photos do the work justice! Such a beautiful color combo! I am nearing cast off now. Hope to post some photos to the KAL forum soon!
