They are made from baby alpaca (no alpacas were harmed in collecting this fibre) and kid silk mohair. What is Kid Silk Mohair, I hear you ask? Well, I have put a lot of time into researching this and it seems that it is mohair that comes from a kid (baby goat) and spun together with silk. Rowan describes this blend as Super Kid Mohair so I guess they get it from Super baby goats...
If you really want the complete lowdown, have a look here.
Enough now of this baby cuteness - let me show you some more cutesy mittens...

The sparkle doesn't really show up here, but the mittens are just a bit sparkly, like the sun on frosted snow... The fibres used here are kid silk mohair (again) and a fine acrylic with a lurex thread spun into it.
The pattern is my own design, which you can find for FREE, here, on Ravelry.
If you would like some mittens for your own cutesy kitten, send me an email and I'll make some specially for you!

They look so soft and comforting.
Love the pink! That embroidered background is pretty darn cute too! Tablecloth?
Lovely mittens Penny and the description of the yarn they're made with just makes them sound even more cosy and warm!
